奖学金介绍Introduction to the Scholarships
1.奖学金类别和覆盖范围 Scholarship Categories and Coverage
(1) A类奖学金包括学费和生活费；
Type A Scholarship covers tuition and living allowance
本科生Bachelor：1100元人民币/月 (yuan/month)
硕士研究生Master's：1400元/月 (yuan/month)
博士研究生Doctoral：1700元/月 (yuan/month)
(2) B类奖学金包括学费；
Type B Scholarship covers tuition.
(3) A类和B类都不包括申请费500元和住宿费。
Both Type A and Type B does not cover the application fee 500 yuan/year and the accommodation fee.
2.奖学金的申请资格 Eligibility for Scholarships
(1)非中国公民（中国出生移民国外学生请参考中国教育部相关规定），身心健康；
Non-Chinese citizens (for immigrant students born in China, please refer to the relevant regulations of China Ministry of Education) and be in good health both mentally and physically.
(2)关于年龄和上一级学位，原则上：
申请攻读学士学位者，年龄不超过25周岁，须具有高中学历（凡申请攻读学士学位的国际学生须提供“来华留学本科入学学业水平测试”（China Scholastic Competency Assessment, 以下简称“CSCA测试”）成绩单。CSCA具体介绍及报名方式请登录官方网站（https://csca.cn/home）查看）；
申请攻读硕士学位者，年龄不超过35周岁，须具有学士学位；
申请攻读博士学位者，年龄不超过40周岁，须具有硕士学位；
With regard to age and previous degree, in principle:
Applicants for Bachelor Degree must not be more than 25 years old and must have a high school diploma(All international students applying for Bachelor's Degree must submit the academic transcript issued for the China Scholastic Competency Assessment (CSCA). For detailed information about the CSCA and registration procedures, please visit the official website: https://csca.cn/home).
Applicants for master degree should not be older than 35 years old and must have a bachelor's degree.
Applicants for doctoral degree should not be older than 40 years old and must have a master's degree.
(3)学术成绩要求：
4分制GPA须在3分以上，换算后100分制80分以上；
Cumulative GPA must be 3 and above out of 4.0.
Weighted average score is 80 and above out of 100.
(4)尚未得到中国其他奖学金的资助。
Not yet sponsored by any other scholarships in China.
3.语言能力的要求 Language Proficiency Requirement
(1) 申请人必须提供提供HSK、TOEFL-ibt、IELTS、多领国等语言水平证书，若没有相关证明，申请者需提供上一级学位的授课语言证明；
Applicants must provide language proficiency certificate such as HSK, TOEFL-ibt, IELTS, Duolingo, etc. If applicants can not provide, should provide the certificate of language taught in previous degree.
(2) 汉语授课专业汉语水平最低要求：
本科HSK 4 级200分以上；
硕士HSK 5 级190分以上；
博士HSK 5 级200分以上；
Minimum Chinese language proficiency requirement for Chinese-taught programs:
Bachelor HSK Level 4 with a score of 200 or above
Master HSK 5 with a score of 190 or above
Doctoral HSK Level 5 with a score of 200 or above.
(3) 英文授课专业英语语水平最低要求：
本科、硕士：托福80，单科不得低于20/雅思6.0，单科不得低于5.5或多邻国115，单科不低于115；
博士：托福85，单科不得低于21/雅思6.5，单科不得低于6.0或多领国125，单科不低于125；
Minimum English language proficiency requirement for English-taught programs:
TOEFL 80 with no section less than 20/IELTS 6.0 with no band less than 5.5 or Duolingo English Test 115 with no subscore less than 115 for Bachelor and master students.
TOEFL 85 with no section less than 21/IELTS 6.5 with no band less than 6.0 or Duolingo English Test 120 with no subscore less than 120 for doctoral students.
4.奖学金期限和年度评审 Scholarship Duration & Annual Review
奖学金期限：本科生4年、硕士研究生3年、博士研究生4年，特殊专业按相应年限资助；
Scholarship Duration: 4 years for Bachelor students, 3 years for master students, and 4 years for doctoral students,Specialized fields receive funding for the corresponding duration.
年度评审：每年5月对奖学金获得者上一学年的表现进行综合评估，以确定奖学金获得者是否有资格继续获得奖学金。
Annual Review:There is a comprehensive assessment of the scholarship holder's performance during the previous academic year to determine whether the scholarship holder is qualified to continue receiving the scholarship in each month of May.
5.关于导师接收函About Acceptance Letter from SWU Supervisor
申请本奖学金不需要西南大学导师的接收函（我们仅视其为推荐信）。
A letter of acceptance from your potential supervisor at SWU is not required to apply for this scholarship and will only be considered as a recommendation letter.
注：
1.一旦发现申请材料不实等相关情况，申请者将被取消录取资格并拉入我校黑名单，永不录取；在读者将予以处分包括但不限于：取消奖学金、勒令退学、开除等，相关情况也将报送上级主管部门和出入境管理局；
2. 根据奖学金管理办法，国际学生在华学习期间只能获得一种奖学金资助；
3. 已经获得某类奖学金资助的国际学生，在中国学习期间不能申请或转换成其它奖学金类型。
Note:
1.Once any situation such as untrue information in the application materials is discovered, the applicant will have their admission qualification revoked and be placed on our blacklist, with permanent ineligibility for future admission. For current students found in such circumstances, disciplinary actions will be taken, including but not limited to the cancellation of scholarships, expulsion from school, dismissal,etc.Relevant information will also be reported toHigher Authoritiesand Exit-Entry Administration Bureau.
2. According to Scholarship Regulations, all international students can be covered by only one type of Scholarship when international studnets study in China.
3. International students who are already covered by a certain type of scholarship are not eligible to apply for or switch to a new type of scholarship while studying in China.
