1.报到及接机
1. Registration & Pick-up Service
1.1报到时间：2026年秋季学期新生报到注册时间为2026年9月3日至9月4日。请各位新生提前预订前往重庆的机票或火车票，并严格按照规定时间，前往西南大学国际学院紫云楼一楼学术报告厅办理报到手续。未按规定时间报到的新生，将视为自动放弃入学资格。
Registration Date: The registration for new students for the 2026 Fall Semester is scheduled for September 3–4, 2026. All new students are advised to book your flights or train tickets to Chongqing in advance and report to the Academic Lecture Hall on the 1st Floor of Ziyun Building, International College, Southwest University, within the specified dates. Failure to register on time will be deemed as automatic forfeiture of admission.
1.2接机与接站服务：报到注册期间，学校将为中国政府奖学金生（CSC）和国际中文教师奖学金生（CIS）提供接机及接站服务。学校国际学生会（指定邮箱：swustudentunion@126.com）将通过邮件联系相关学生，请注意查收邮件，准确登记本人到校时间、所乘坐的交通工具类型及行李件数。
Airport and Train Station Pick-up Service: During the registration dates, SWU will provide free airport and train station pick-up services for Chinese Government Scholarship recipients (CSC) and Chinese International Education Scholarship (CIS). The International Student Union (Email Address of ISU: swustudentunion@126.com) will reach out to the relevant students via email. Please be sure to monitor your email and accurately provide your arrival time, means of transport, and the number of pieces of luggage you will have with you.

2.1重庆江北机场--西南大学
Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport to Southwest University
（1）机场巴士：在重庆江北国际机场3号航站楼国内到达7号出口处的“长途换乘中心”，搭乘前往北碚方向的机场大巴，在西南大学南门站下车。该线路运营时间为早上8:40至下午6:30，用时约80分钟。
Airport Shuttle Bus: Take the shuttle bus bound for Beibei at the Long-distance Transfer Center by Exit 7 of Domestic Arrival, Terminal 3 of Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport, and get off at Southwest University South Gate Stop. The bus operates from 8:40 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., with a travel time of about 80 minutes.
（2）出租车：费用约150元，用时约50分钟。请务必排队乘坐正规出租车，记得索取且妥善保留机打乘车发票。
Taxi: The fare is about 150 RMB and the trip takes roughly 50 minutes. Please queue up for official licensed taxis and keep the printed taxi receipt properly.
（3）地铁：从江北机场站搭乘轨道交通10号线至悦来站，换乘6号线（北碚方向），直至西南大学站下车，随后步行即可到达西南大学2号门，用时约70分钟。
Metro: Take Metro Line 10 from Jiangbei Airport Station to Yuelai Station, transfer to Line 6 towards Beibei and alight at Southwest University Station. A short walk will lead you to Gate 2 of Southwest University, and the whole journey takes about 70 minutes.
2.2重庆火车北站--西南大学
Chongqing North Railway Station to Southwest University
（1）出租车：费用约100元，用时约40分钟。
Taxi: The fare is around 100 RMB and the travel time is approximately 40 minutes.
（2）地铁：从重庆北站北广场站搭乘轨道交通3号线至红旗河沟站，换乘6号线（北碚方向），直至西南大学站下车，随后步行即可到达西南大学2号门，用时约70分钟。
Metro: Take Metro Line 3 from North Square of Chongqing North Railway Station to Hongqihegou Station, transfer to Line 6 towards Beibei and get off at Southwest University Station. Walk a short distance to Gate 2 of Southwest University, with a total travel time of about 70 minutes.
3.居留许可办理（仅针对持X1签证或停留签证的新生）
Residence Permit Application (Only for freshmen holding X1 Visa or stay visa)
3.1 境内新生居留许可办理要求：西南大学暑期期间（2026.07.13-2026.08.30）不受理任何已录取新生的居留许可办理申请。若新生之前在中国境内其他高校就读，需在完成原校学业后尽快回国，请勿在中国境内持续逗留。新生需在9月规定报到时间到校，待报到注册成功后，方可办理居留许可。若境内新生持有其他学校的居留许可，必须返回原学校办理退学手续，出具退学证明，办理停留证件后，方能来校报到。
Application Requirements for Students Already in China: The International College will not accept residence permit applications from admitted freshmen during the summer vacation (July 13 – August 30, 2026). If you previously studied at another university in China, you shall return to your home country promptly upon graduation and avoid long-term stay in China. You can only apply for a residence permit after completing official registration in September as scheduled. If you hold a residence permit issued by another university, you must complete withdrawal procedures at your former university, obtain a withdrawal certificate and apply for a stay visa before coming to SWU for registration.
3.2 境外新生入境要求：西南大学暑期期间（2026.07.13-2026.08.30）不受理任何已录取新生的居留许可办理申请。目前仍身处中国境外的新生，请务必在9月规定的报到时间内入境并到校办理报到手续，请勿于暑假期间提前入境。
Entry Requirements for Overseas Freshmen: The International College will not process residence permit applications for admitted freshmen during the summer vacation (July 13 – August 30, 2026). Freshmen who are still outside China must enter China and complete registration within the designated registration dates in September. Please do not enter the country in advance during the summer break.
3.3 居留许可办理材料：根据出入境管理最新规定，9月报到的新生需每人准备以下材料：《外国人签证证件申请表》（JW202/201表）复印件1份；录取通知书原件1份。上述材料为办理居留许可的必备文件。
Required Documents for Residence Permit Application: In accordance with the latest regulations of Exit and Entry Administration, all freshmen registering in September shall prepare the following mandatory documents: 1 copy of the Foreigner Visa and Document Application Form (Form JW202/201); 1 original Admission Notice.
4.中国境内电话卡与重庆银行卡办理
Applying for a Local SIM Card and a Chongqing Bank Account
4.1中国境内电话卡办理：所有国际新生需在入境中国后第一时间办理中国境内电话卡，以满足校内业务办理、日常通讯等基础需求。
Chinese SIM Card Application: All international freshmen shall apply for a Chinese mainland SIM card immediately after entering China to meet the basic demands of campus administrative procedures and daily communication.
4.2重庆银行卡办理：对于获得包含生活费的奖学金的新生，需在入境中国后第一时间办理重庆银行卡，该银行卡将作为生活费发放的指定收款账户。办理完银行卡后，请尽快登录“西南大学国际学生在线服务系统”提交卡号信息（具体操作请参见“西南大学国际学生银行卡信息填写指南”）。
Chongqing Bank Card Application: Scholarship recipients entitled to monthly living stipends shall apply for a Chongqing Bank card right after arrival, which will serve as the designated receiving account for stipend disbursement. After opening the bank account, log into the Southwest University International Student Online Service System as soon as possible to submit your bank card number (refer to the SWU International Student Bank Card Information Submission Guide for detailed operations).
5.住宿安排及收费标准
Accommodation Arrangement and Fee Standards
5.1住宿安排：根据各类奖学金管理要求及学校相关规定，以下学生由学校统一安排免费住宿，无需提前预订：中国政府奖学金全额资助生、国际中文教师奖学金全额资助生、项目生、校际交流合作协议中明确由西南大学安排住宿的学生。免费住宿最早入住日期为9月3日，早于该日期入住的学生，需按以下标准缴纳住宿费：单人间：120元/人/天；两人间：80元/人/天。
Accommodation Arrangement: Under the scholarship management policies and university regulations, SWU will arrange free housing for the following students—no reservation needed: full-ride CSC and CIS scholarship recipients, program-sponsored students, and those whose accommodation is covered by SWU under exchange agreements. Free accommodation will be available starting from September 3. If you arrive earlier than that, you will need to pay for temporary lodging at these rates: RMB 120 per night for a single room, or RMB 80 per night for a shared double room.
5.2自行租房要求：重庆市人民政府外国留学生市长奖学金生、西南大学新丝路奖学金生、西南大学校长奖学金生及自费生，需自行在学校周边区域租赁住房。为保障学生安全与管理便利，严禁在北碚区天生街道、朝阳街道、北温泉街道辖区外租房，且租房协议须提交至学生工作办公室备案。学校国际学生会可为新生提供租房相关信息。
Off-campus Housing Requirements: Recipients of Chongqing Municipal Government Mayor Scholarship for International Students, SWU New Silk Road Scholarship, SWU President Scholarship and self-funded students are expected to secure rental accommodation independently in areas surrounding the university campus. For the safety and administrative convenience of all students, it is mandatory that rental properties be located within the boundaries of Tiansheng, Chaoyang, or Beiwenquan Subdistricts of Beibei District; renting outside these designated areas is not permitted. Copies of all rental contracts must be filed with the Student Affairs Office for record purposes. The International Student Union can offer assistance and guidance on off-campus housing to new students.
5.3 临时住宿登记要求：根据中国相关法律法规，所有国际新生入境后24小时内，须持本人护照前往当地公安机关办理临时住宿登记。
Temporary Accommodation Registration Requirement: In accordance with relevant Chinese laws and regulations, all international students must, within 24 hours of their arrival in China, proceed to the local public security authorities with their valid passport to complete temporary accommodation registration.
6.医疗保险
Medical Insurance
6.1保险购买强制要求：根据教育部相关规定，在华就读的国际学生须在报到注册时购买中国境内有效医疗保险，方可办理入学手续。
Mandatory Insurance Purchase Requirement: In accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Education, all international students studying in China must purchase valid Chinese medical insurance upon registration to complete admission procedures.
6.2保险购买方式：新生可在报到注册期间，在工作人员的指引下通过微信或支付宝扫码完成购买。（温馨提示：境外银行卡暂不支持支付）
Insurance Purchase Method: During on-site registration, staff will guide freshmen to complete payment by scanning QR codes via WeChat or Alipay. (Reminder: Overseas bank cards are not supported for payment temporarily.)
6.3国际学生综合保险资费标准为：1年期：800元；半年期：400元；1个月期：160元。
Tariff Standard for International Student Comprehensive Insurance: 1-year coverage: 800 RMB; 6-month coverage: 400 RMB; 1-month coverage: 160 RMB.

7.19月3日-9月4日：国际新生入学报到
September 3 – September 4: Registration for International Freshmen.
7.29月7日-9月11日：开学典礼、入学教育、拍摄居留许可照片、体检、熟悉校园和周边环境等
September 7 – September 11: Opening Ceremony, orientation training, residence permit photo shooting, physical examination, campus and surrounding area tour and other activities.

International Student Bank Card Information Update Guide
请按照以下步骤，认真、准确地完成银行卡信息更新，以确保生活费能够正常发放。Please follow the steps below carefully to complete your bank card information update, ensuring that your monthly living allowance is disbursed without issue.
第一步：登录系统
Step 1: Log in to the System
访问西南大学国际学生在线服务系统：https://swu.17gz.org，登录后点击页面中的“信息更新”选项。Access the Southwest University International Student Online Service System at https://swu.17gz.org. After logging in, click on the "Information Update" option on the page.
第二步：进入银行卡信息模块
Step 2: Access the Bank Card Information Module
在信息更新页面中，选择 “银行卡信息” 栏目，进入填写页面。On the information update page, select the "Bank Card Information" section to proceed to the data entry page.
第三步：填写银行卡信息
Step 3: Fill in Your Bank Card Details
请仔细填写以下三项内容：
（1）开户银行：必须填写 重庆银行。请注意，系统仅接受重庆银行卡，其他银行账户无法成功接收生活费。
（2）银行卡号：请反复核对卡号，确保每一位数字准确无误。卡号填写错误将导致生活费无法到账。
（3）银行卡姓名：请使用本人护照上的完整姓名，确保与银行开户时登记的姓名一致。
Please provide the following three items with accuracy:
Bank Name: You must enter Bank of Chongqing. Please note that only Bank of Chongqing accounts are accepted; cards from other banks cannot be used for receiving living allowance payments.
Bank Card Number: Double-check every digit of your card number to ensure it is entered correctly. Any error in the card number will result in a failure to receive your living allowance.
Cardholder Name: Enter the full name as it appears on your passport, ensuring it matches the name registered with your bank account.
第四步：核对并提交
Step 4: Review and Submit
提交前，请再次逐项核对所填信息是否完整、准确。确认无误后，点击“提交”按钮完成更新。
Before submitting, carefully review all the information you have entered for completeness and accuracy. Once you have confirmed that everything is correct, click the "Submit" button to complete the update.
